CMG Small Business Strong Features Zinger Fit
At Zinger Fit, they provide small group training exclusively for women of all levels of fitness. They specialize in HIIT, Cycle, Yoga, Barre and have some one-of-a-kind hybrid classes. Under normal situations, they cap their classes at 10-12 women and provide a personal training feel with a group training price tag! Zinger Fit prides themselves on delivering a top level, unique fitness experience in a judge-free and kickass community.
How has their business shifted as a result of the COVID-19 crisis?
Since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, Zinger Fit made the tough decision on March 17th to close their physical doors. It took two days to lay the foundations for creating an online streaming service of live workouts and they are rolling! Their current schedule is different from their in-person schedule and they have increased their class size. Zinger Fit is currently using Zoom (isn’t everyone?!) to provide the live feel of a class with instructor attention and coaching cues. This has given them an opportunity to “see” everyone and keep people safe with form and proper technique by having them join Zinger Fit live. They are striving to maintain the personal connection and continue to motivate people by name! For those not able to jump into a live class, they have a library of on-demand videos on their YouTube Channel.
What has Zinger Fit done to be innovative and creative in order for their business to survive this economic crisis?
The coolest part is seeing who is jumping on board right now. Zinger Fit has new clients from Las Vegas, Maine, Maryland, Pennsylvania as well as vintage Zingers who have moved out of the area and join them from Wisconsin and Minnesota. They have loved to see the sweat across the country. Their owner, Kelly, has also been able to tap into her alma mater and is currently having weekly sessions with the William & Mary Field Hockey Team in their respective homes. She has loved seeing what the next generation of Tribe Pride can do. They are also taking on other corporate groups working from home but joining each other for a sweat session, most of these have been co-ed and so fun!
How can you support this small business during this time?
Zinger Fit would love to have more people try the Zoom classes they are offering. It is their hope to maintain some form of streaming classes post COVID-19, so now is the time to start it.
