CMG Inspired by the Story of Dorothy "Dot" Braden Bruce

At this month's Encorepreneur event, our CreativeMktGroup team was honored to get a sneak peak of the revitalized Virginia War Memorial as mentioned in Richmond BizSense's article. The speakers, Jim Bruce and Nancy Bruce Robertson, shared with us the incredible story of their mother, Dorothy "Dot" Braden Bruce. She was an American hero and a central character in Liza Mundy's book, Code Girls The Untold Story of the American Women Code Breakers of World War II. Dot and the other young women code breakers helped cripple the Japanese military in the Pacific while working in the nation's capital. Their work is credited with shortening the war by at least two years and saving millions of lives.
