A Richmond Apothecary Retailer Re-opens Their Doors
Located in the heart of Carytown, Mamie’s Apothecary carries a curated selection of beauty and wellness products as well as pantry and household products. They opened their doors in July 2019 in honor of the owner’s mother, Mamie, who was a huge inspiration in her wellness journey. These products are made with clean ingredients for you to detox your mind, body and soul while also cleansing your space. Their community is women of all generations that rely on products they can feel good about using on their and their loved one’s skin.
Due to the Coronavirus crisis, they had to temporarily close their doors on March 16th. They immediately shifted their focus to providing wellness products for immune support solely online. Mamie’s Apothecary has since re-opened with strict safety guidelines and are offering curbside pick-up for orders placed over the phone as well as free shipping on web orders over $35. They have continued to clean and sanitize all surfaces and are available daily to open their door for walk-ins when you call ahead.
Mamie’s Apothecary has been able to be more creative through online marketing with their social media posts and increasing website presence. They’ve taken this opportunity to reach out to their community for local vendor recommendations and plan on expanding their local lines in order to further support their neighbors and community.
The best way to show your support for Mamie’s Apothecary is by shopping locally online and in-store (safely) and by spreading the word about their store to your friends and family! They’re still a new business and word of mouth advertising means so much to further connect with the Richmond community.
