Startup Accelerator Program Grows due to Virtual Transition and Online Interactions
Lighthouse Labs is the premier nationally recognized startup accelerator in Virginia. Lighthouse has accelerated more than 50 companies, generating over 900 jobs for the Richmond community along the way. COVID-19 has provided Lighthouse Labs with the opportunity to expand their reach by bringing the Accelerator program virtual! No longer limited by in-person interactions, they can work with startups outside of Richmond to bring the Lighthouse Labs magic beyond the city. While they had to pivot programming and rethink their summer plans, they are excited for the long-term changes that will increase access to entrepreneurship in an ever-more-digital world!
The backbone of the Accelerator is their amazing mentor network - they provide invaluable advice and support for the Lighthouse founders. They are always looking for local experts, specifically with high-growth and tech experience, to provide valuable insights to their growing companies as subject-matter experts or ongoing mentors and advisors.
