ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Founded in 2021 by a local mom of two, the nonprofit Start 1 Spark enables community members to help students in need participate in rewarding extracurricular activities such as sports, music, arts, and clubs. Fueled by the belief these activities should not be a luxury, Start 1 Spark aims to provide all students with the opportunities to discover their passions, become leaders, improve communication skills, and explore creative outlets.

CLIENT ISSUE

With a nonprofit idea she envisioned since the early months of the pandemic, Amber Lancaster reached out to CMG to support the creatives for her nonprofit concept, including a name, logo, and website. Hearing of CMG from other small businesses, Amber visited our website and discovered she knew our Strategist, Kristin VanStory, who had a background in nonprofit marketing. It was a natural fit from the start!

CMG SOLUTION

After our initial conversation, we quickly scheduled a discovery meeting to determine the appropriate next steps to meet Amber’s vision, timeline, and expectations. Through collaborative strategy sessions, Amber and the CMG team brainstormed and cultivated ideas, resulting in the name Start 1 Spark and supporting logo, followed by the creation of her website and social media platforms. Since then, CMG has supported Start 1 Spark with ongoing business development, social media needs, and print collateral including business cards and a bookmark.
